Zarro is a premier Jamaican Disability Awareness Organization that conducts training with corporate employees and educators along with expertly designed literacy and numeracy classes for special needs students at home in Jamaica, the Caribbean and in the diaspora. We empower professionals with the knowledge and skills to confidently support and collaborate with colleagues and customers with disabilities—building workplaces that are more inclusive, effective, and responsive to diverse needs. For parents, we provide structured, supportive reading and Mathematics classes, PEP, CSEC and A Level subjects that help special needs students and adults build the strong academic foundation they deserve. At Zarro, our mission is simple: to make accessible, high-quality education and training available to all, everywhere. Zarro | Inclusion Without Limits.
1. Special Needs Teaching Methods
Working with students with special needs requires more than subject knowledge—it demands an understanding of how different learning profiles, behaviours, and developmental challenges affect the way children absorb information, interact with peers, and respond to instruction. Educators need this training because inclusive classrooms are now the norm, and teachers must be equipped with the skills to meet every learner where they are, ensuring that no student is left behind.
